Scott Haskell
Scott Haskell is a consultant with the Boston office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 1989.
Experience
Scott has experience in a wide variety of property and casualty actuarial work, including insurance pricing, reserving, captive feasibility studies, cost allocations, statements of actuarial opinion, probability level analyses, benchmark analyses, and financial modeling. He has assisted in the analyses of asbestos and environmental losses for a number of clients.
His work with clients includes the following:
- Multiline property and casualty insurers
- Reinsurers
- Alternative market (captives, self-insureds, risk retention groups)
- Municipalities
- State insurance departments
- Lloyd’s of London syndicates
Scott has assisted state insurance departments with the examinations of several large national insurers, including risk-focused examinations. He has also assisted in the review of hundreds of rate filings for the insurance departments of Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island, including the areas of automobile, homeowners, workers’ compensation, and medical malpractice.
