
Brett Murack
Brett Murack is a DC plan management associate with Milliman’s Employee Benefits Administration and Consulting Practice. He is a remote employee in the Denver area. He performs many client activities, including monthly status calls with CAPTRUST. He interacts daily with plan sponsors to monitor payroll functions, participant data, and answer general and plan-specific questions to help plans function as smoothly as possible. He coordinates daily with the Milliman Compliance department to clarify data, review historical plan activity for the audit process, and plan amendments.
Experience
Brett started off in the Dallas Call Center in 2016, where he assisted participants with questions on their defined contribution, defined benefit, and non-qualified plans. Brett then became a supervisor in the Call Center and assisted with education and in developing processes that are still in place today. He became a plan manager with the CAPTRUST team in 2020 during the process of onboarding 180 plans (defined contribution, a defined benefit plan, and insurance policies within the 401k plans). His experiences include project management, plan reconciliation, change management, onboarding, sales, and education.
