Kazuyuki Otani
Kazuyuki Otani joined Milliman in July 2015. He has been engaged mainly in life insurance assignments, with a focus on support for actuarial system design and implementation.
In addition to his support to Japan-based clients, since 2016, he has worked in the UK on Milliman Integrate development tasks for major global insurers.
Experience
Kazuyuki has extensive IT knowledge and experience, including the design and implementation of complex systems for life insurance companies.
He has been involved in diverse assignments, such as supporting large-capacity data management, validating valuation calculation engines, and assisting with EUC systems, including the use of cloud computing.
Prior to joining Milliman, he worked for Tokio Marine Systems as a systems engineer where he gained experience in developing applications systems for statistics and pricing, project management, and data analytics.
After joining Milliman, he has primarily been engaged in MG-ALFA and related system development and implementation.
He has also been working on development of Milliman Integrate solutions utilizing cloud computing, in particular, in support of Milliman UK insurance clients.
