Christi Tumlinson is a senior DB client relations manager for the Pension Administration Services team in the Milliman Employee Benefits Administration and Consulting Practice. She oversees the daily tasks of the team and is responsible for coaching and mentoring team members. She joined Milliman in 2006.

Experience

Christi has experience with many different types of defined benefit plans, including traditional plans, cash balance plans, pension equity plans, non-ERISA plans, and non-qualified plans.

Christi has extensive experience in all aspects of pension administration, from performing benefit calculations and working with trustees on payment administration, to implementing plan changes. Her expertise includes required minimum distributions, benefit statements, custom reporting, reviewing and interpreting plan documents, and preparing valuation data files for actuaries. Christi also specializes in several special project areas within defined benefit administration such as plan freezes, plan mergers, acquisitions, lump sum cashout windows, and large benefit certification, and statement projects.
